Rosie, our herd queen, last kidded in April 2018. In spite of our best efforts to dry her up, she insists on performing the duties of a dairy goat and continues to milk. As of August 2023 she is still producing about a 5-7 lb once a day depending on the time of year. Rosie proved even more valuable during the 2022 kidding season by raising a rejected kid for us. She loved that doe baby and raised her up right! Although she may not be as fancy as our show does, Rosie is a big, solid, extremely functional girl. We love her will to milk.
