Rosie, our herd queen, last kidded in April 2018. In spite of our best efforts to dry her up, she insists on performing the duties of a dairy goat and continues to milk. As of July 2022 she has officially been in milk for more than 1,500 days and still produces about a 5-7 lb once a day. Although she may not be as fancy as our show does, Rosie is a big, solid, extremely functional girl. We love her will to milk.
